The Val de'Varri Caves are a complex of caves that develop at the base of Mount Sant'Angelo and are also known as "sinkhole of Val de' Varri". Along the operating left branch you come to a room with archaeological remains of the Middle Bronze Age. numerous ceramic fragments were recovered, faunal elements, elements in flint and metal, a clay Fuseruola (ceramic bead), a Macinello (grinding mortar), machined stones. These relics are preserved in the archaeological museum "Pigorini" of Rome. The walls also have many forms of rock art as evidence of human presence.
