Il Ponte Scotonico è un viadotto costruito dai romani al XXXVI miglio dell’antica via consolare Valeria, tra il 94 e il 97 DC The Bridge Scotonico is a viaduct built by the Romans at 36 miles from the ancient consular road Valeria, between 94 and 97 AD, when the Emperor Nerva ordered the construction of the road that connected Rome with the Adriatic coast. Along the Via Valeria were found several rustic villas, tombs, columns and numerous milestone markers now preserved in the Castle Brancaccio.
