It is the only goat cheese from local farms. It is deposited in the characteristics shaped "baskets" traditionally made of woven wicker, although today many have replaced them with metal shapes. The Marzolina cheese can be eaten fresh or aged, the fresh has a sweet taste while the aged has a much stronger and more intense flavour.
