Energitismo Insight

The church of the eighteenth century, owes its name to the image on the main altar, carried out following the model of that venerated in Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. The church was an important place of religious acceptance and prayer for pilgrims heading to the nearby sanctuary of Mentorella. For this next to the sacred building stood, until the eighteenth century, a small hospice to house the travellers.
