The church was built in the first half of the fifteenth century, and has undergone significant changes over the centuries. Inside, the church has three naves and has an artistic wooden choir dated between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The two aisles are full of artistic works and end with a chapel. The church is full of paintings, vases and precious vestments that make it unique. The church has an exceptional historical archive consisting of parchments, manuscripts, records, and other papers. The oldest preserved document dates back to 1300.
