The Operetta Museum is named after Sandro Massimini, the most famous Italian interpreter, and in addition to his own assortment he collected theatres with puppets and hand puppets made since 1600. Operetta has helped change the face of Europe by the early twentieth century. The story of the museum is divided along an arc of more than hundred and fifty years. There are testimonies of the most illustrious personalities of the Italian spectaculars such as Wanda Osiris, Carlo Dapporto, Walter Chiari and Sophia Loren. In an audio-visual room, you can see the most famous and representative performances.
