Since 1967 the Museum has been located in the Ruspoli Castle, in the historical centre, and preserves part of the finds of the excavations of the necropolis with equipment from the burial ground of Sorbo. The first room contains a small urn with the reproduction of a bride and groom at their banquet (draft copy of the famous "sarcophagus" stored at Villa Giulia). In the upper room, there are a number of sarcophagi of the Hellenistic period found in the Tasmie Tomb and the Tomb of the Sarcophagi.
