Born and educated as a youth in Frascati, Roberto Scardella received his training as an architect the heart of the ancient capital Rome, surrounded by great art, architecture and fine silver- and gold-smithing.
Following his degree he combined architecture, art, sculpture and artisanal creation in a manner remininiscent of the masters of the renaissance 500 years ago. Recently, he envisioned and created the DesaRteS range of fine sculpted works for the house to bring his sculpture inside.

Frascati is a key town in what is known as the Castelli Romani, that area where the relatives and friends of the popes built their ‘Tusculum Villas’ from the 16th century. The villas of the tuscan hills became palaces and castles due to the involvement of the best architects and artists of that period. They introduced the idea that water, together with sculpture and architectural setting, could be enjoyable.
